I am here to serve and be a guide to your mental, emotional, and spiritual journey. I am passionate about helping individual's process grief, transition through loss, regain hope, and discover their purpose in life. Due to my rich diverse life and intersectional experiences, I can effectively serve culturally diverse populations from all SES. I also appreciate the beautiful diversity in God's creations and is open to assisting/supporting clients from the Queer Community. I am here to help you heal, explore, and discover a full healthier life. My husband, Arthur and I founded Isaiah D. Jamison Community Wellness Center in 2010 a couple of years after the death of our son Isaiah D. Jamison. Confused about loss, grief, and trauma, I returned to undergrad and grad school to study counseling and psychology to learn about the brain and have a better understanding how humans' function after traumatic losses and life experiences. Unfortunately, traumatic loss affects the individuals, the people they are close to, and complicates multiple functions in life. Considering the unique correlation of life and death, organism is often flooded with unexpected emotions and feelings. There are multiple factors that can lead to increased risk of developing medical/health related issues and conditions. If left untreated, it can manifest in unhealthy ways. Isaiah D. Jamison Community Wellness Center is a nonprofit organization that offer counseling services and programs to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Ages ranging from 15-70 years old. Specialization includes, but not limited to anxiety, anger, grief, depression, trauma, and PTSD. I am currently getting credentialed with multiple insurance companies for Texas and California and accepting private pay clients only. Some of our programs and services includes providing supervision for trainees and supervision for therapist desiring to become supervisors. Future goals: launch a full-time group practice and training institute.
